Overview
This program will provide holders of the previous BSZ40198 an opportunity to update their knowledge
and receive a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40204). The program will focus on the 9
units in the qualification with no equivalence in the BSZ.
Course Objective
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is the national minimum standard formally required by
professionals involved in training and assessment. This program is aimed at updating the skills and
levels of competence of experienced trainers holding the previous Certificate IV in Workplace Training
and Assessment.
Course Outline
The former Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment included 8 units of competence while
the new certificate consists of 12 core and 2 elective units. This upgrade program will provide an
overall update on the whole qualification but will concentrate on the following units:The former

Course Learning Guide
