Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is more than just safety, it also covers the overall wellbeing of workers in all environments, risk analysis and ensuring workers are able to resume work following injuries.

Forsythes IT & Training are offering two qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety:

  • BSB41407 Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety
    The BSB41407 Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety, is now the minimum requirement for OHS management in most workplaces and is designed to enable participants to contribute to the organisations Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems.

    This course is ideal for those responsible for OHS in their workplace and also for those who wish to become WorkCover accredited trainers and assessors, human resource (HR) practitioners, safety officers or supervisors with significant OH&S responsibilities.

    Qualification Rules
    A total number of 9 units are required to complete this qualification. They consist of 6 Occupational Health and Safety units and 3 elective units.


  • BSB51307 Diploma of Occupational Health & Safety
    This is a nationally endorsed qualification designed for those seeking to become OHS practitioners.

    Qualification Rules
    A total number of 8 units are required to complete this qualification. They consist of 5 Occupational Health and Safety units and 3 Elective Units.


Diploma and Cert IV Courses are run concurrently. Dates are as follows.
