Overview

This half-day instructor-led clinic provides developers with an introduction to the BizTalk Server 2006 development environment, as well as the BizTalk messaging and orchestrations services. This clinic will highlight features and functionality through demonstrations of common developer tasks.

Prerequisites

Before attending this course, students must have:
  • 1-2 years developing enterprise-level applications
  • Background in Microsoft .NET concepts and technology
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003
  • Working knowledge of XML
  • No prior BizTalk experience is necessary

This session provides an introduction to BizTalk Server 2006 and the BizTalk development environment. It also explains how to create and use schemas, maps, pipelines, and ports; as well as how to deploy an application.
