Standard Support
(Provided by experienced Microsoft engineers)
Installation, maintenance and general administration of:
- Network operating systems, eg: Windows, SBS
- Tape backup hardware and scheduling software
- Virus protection products
- Unmanaged router and switch configuration
Does not include planning, design, project management, consulting services or any services provided in Advanced Support.
Advanced Support
(Provided by staff with specific specialist skills)
Support, design, and project planning for the installation, configuration and maintenance of:
- Managed router and switch configurations eg: Cisco
- VPN configuration – client and host
- Exchange Server
- SQL Server
- Citrix Metaframe
- Specialist routing and switching
- Specialist security
- Non Microsoft operating systems
